Welcome to the Tecumseh Lodge Education Group!
The Lodge sponsors an annual powwow during the Labor Day Weekend and a Mid-winter dance in January of each year. Throughout the year, the Lodge sponsors social craft sessions and dances on Saturday evening in the spring and fall. Our business meetings are held bi-monthly and are opened to all Lodge members.

Mid-Winter Powwow 2025
Join us for the Tecumseh Lodge Mid-Winter Powwow on January 4th, 2025 at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds Exposition Hall. There will be gourd dancing and intertribal dancing. Celebrate the new year with us!
October 19th Social
Join us for a social on October 19th featuring a craft workshop by Nick Biddinger on ribbon work. Bring a dish to share at our pitch-in supper. Bring your dance clothes and enjoy dancing with us and our drum, Strong Heart Singers. All are welcome.

Hyde Toppah from Coweta, OK will be the head southern singer for the 63rd Annual Tecumseh Lodge Powwow on August 31st. through September 1st. We look forward to welcoming him to Tipton and hope that you’ll come and enjoy some great southern singing and the rest of our powwow weekend.
2024 Labor Day Powwow Seminar Schedule
Saturday morning, August 31st, at the Tecumseh Lodge Powwow we host an educational seminar series. This year’s topics include tipi setup and history, Native American toys and games, appliqué beadwork, fan construction and more. See the schedule flyer for details.
